Pastor Alphonso B. Dance Sr. learned the meaning of service early in life through the many examples set forth by his parents, the late Bishop Curtis Dance Sr. and Mother Betty Dance. Pastor Dance has served in the ministry at the Mt. Holy Church as administrator, clerk, head deacon, choir director, musician, usher, Sunday school teacher, bible school teacher, Evangelist and President/Founder of the Inspired by the Word of God Outreach Ministry. Pastor Dance has been a member of the Mount Holy Apostolic Church his entire life. He accepted Christ as his personal Savior at the age of thirteen and was filled with the Holy Ghost. He has always understood the privilege and honor of working for the House of the Lord.

Pastor Dance is thankful to God for his loving wife, Mamie and his loving family. He appreciates and encourages all to celebrate Christ not only on Sunday mornings but everyday with family and friends.
